The I-optic eyewear chain was founded in 2002 by two childhood friends – Yanir Sudai, who holds a clinical master’s degree from Salus University in the United States and Idan Shmueli, who holds a bachelor’s degree in the b.optom track at Hadas Academic College in Jerusalem. The two, who as children dreamed of starting a joint business, started their journey in a small branch on Abba Hillel Street in Ramat Gan, with the aim of offering a different and higher quality solution in the world of glasses
